components 2026 is a very special event for Winterhoff Picard. This is the first time we are presenting our solutions at an international trade fair. As part of interpack, one of the world’s leading events for the packaging industry, components offers the perfect platform for technical components, precision parts and functional solutions.
From the project business to the trade fair
We have been developing and manufacturing precision machine knives for a wide range of applications for generations. The exchange with our customers traditionally takes place where our products are used: in the project, in the process, in the specific application.
The advantage of this is obvious: the solutions are developed in the context of real requirements. The materials, geometries and manufacturing processes are always considered in conjunction with the respective application. Solutions are therefore always developed in the direct context of real requirements.
At the same time, however, it is also clear that many practical issues are relevant across all sectors. The trade fair appearance is therefore a logical next step – towards greater visibility and an expanded professional exchange beyond existing projects.
Why the components?
Machine knives are rarely isolated products. Their performance is always demonstrated in interaction with the material, machine and process parameters. And components offers the opportunity to visualize these interrelationships and discuss them with trade visitors from different sectors.
This is precisely why we see the trade fair not primarily as a presentation area, but as a place for discussions. For us, it’s less about providing ready-made answers and more about asking the right questions together. Because it is often the seemingly small details that make the difference. And it is precisely these details that are best clarified in direct conversation.
Components is not a classic product trade fair in the sense of finished end solutions. Instead, the focus here is on components, materials and technologies that have an impact in larger systems. This is precisely where the interface to our work lies.
